Michael joined Inline in October 2016, and works on technology and financial technology policy.
Michael holds an MPhil in International Relations and Politics from Cambridge University, where he wrote his thesis on defence policy in the UK and Europe. His research included meeting with key policymakers to conduct in-depth interviews on a variety of issues, from drone programmes to aircraft carriers.
He has a BA in History with French from University College London; during his studies he spent a year at Paris IV Sorbonne and worked at France’s Assemblée National.
Writing about history and current affairs remains one of his key interests, and he has contributed articles to a variety of publications.
